As part of its "Twelve Days of Power Shopping" campaign, Sprint highlights extensive programming lineup - including "ELLEN On-the-Go" - that can help make holiday travel less stressful and downtime more fun
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — This holiday season, Sprint (NYSE: S) is making sure travelers have the power to watch all their favorite television shows and movies while on the go. In addition to its current line-up of more than 50 channels of live and on-demand video content, Sprint announced that today the newest channel available on its Emmy-Award winning Sprint TV(SM) service is channel 76: "ELLEN On-the-Go," with content including Ellen's daily monologue, made-for-mobile highlights from the show, special field pieces and more. Sprint TV is available to Sprint Power Vision(SM) customers with a multimedia-capable handset. Power Vision data plans start at $15 per month.

Sprint TV offers more than 50 other channels of live and on-demand video programming – something for everyone in the family. For instance, Sprint customers can stay on top of the latest news with ABC News Now, FOX Sports, FOX News Channel Live or CSPAN. Parents wanting to keep long car rides quiet can let their kids watch the Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, Saturday Morning TV or Discovery Kids. Sports fans can catch highlights of all the top games via the NFL Network, ESPN, Maxx Sports or Fox Sports. Entertainment junkies can get their fill of Hollywood gossip on E! and the Hollywood Insider. And anyone in need of a little laughter can tune in to Comedy Central, Comedy Time or GoTV Pure Comedy.

Sprint Movies:
Sprint has something for movie buffs too. Sprint Movies is the first "pay-per-view" service for mobile phones in the U.S. that streams full-length movies, including recent box-office hits and timeless favorites from Buena Vista VOD, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Sprint Movies offers a growing list of more than 45 titles, including "National Treasure," "Spider-Man 2" and "Scarface." A movie can be seen in its entirety all at once, or it can be divided into chapters and watched over time. Customers can play, pause and skip forward or backward to different chapters. They can also resume a movie at the exact point where it was last shut down.
Sprint Movies cost between $3.99 and $5.99 each for Sprint Power Vision subscribers. Customers can view the movie unlimited times within a set period, which varies between 24 hours and one week depending on the title. In addition, 24-hour titles include the option of purchasing up to two 24-hour viewing extensions at the rate of $.99.
Sprint Movies is available on select Sprint multimedia handsets and can be watched anywhere while on the Sprint Power Vision Network or nationwide Vision network. All titles from Sprint Movies are edited, when necessary, to meet TV-14 standards. New titles will continually be added to the Sprint Movies lineup. The initial titles are:
