Cingular Unwraps First Litchfield County Store for the Holidays
ROCKY HILL, Conn. /PRNewswire/ - Cingular Wireless, announced today the opening of its newest Connecticut store in Torrington.
The store, located at 1931 East Main Street, offers a number of options for the last minute holiday shopper -- including Cingular's pre-paid GoPhone, hands-free Bluetooth accessories, phone "bling kits" and ring tone cards. Cingular stores in Connecticut also offer AT&T high speed Internet services.
Cingular Wireless is committed to providing a customer and network experience second-to-none in the industry. With the recent opening of the Torrington location, Cingular now has 26 company-owned retail stores throughout Connecticut. Together with the company's local and national retailers, there are approximately 230 outlets where customers can shop and buy Cingular's products and services in the state.
This year, Cingular invested $25 million in Connecticut and added 47 new cell sites. As result of its merger with AT&T Wireless, Cingular customers now enjoy the benefit of more than 600 fully-integrated cell sites statewide.
